Sri Radha Krishna-
Chandra Mandir (Hindi:
श्री राधा कृष्ण-चन्द्र
मन्दिर ) or ISKCON
Bangalore temple is a
Vaishnava temple of Krishna
and Radha located at
Rajajinagar, in the North
Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
It is one of the largest
ISKCON temples in the
world.[1] It publishes an
international magazine, Back
to Prabhupada and an
electronic newsletter.[1]
History of ISKCON in
Bangalore
In May 1997, Bangalore
Iskcon Temple was
inaugurated by former
president of India - Shankar
Dayal
Sharma.[citation needed]
On May 23, 2011, "The
legal battle between
Bangalore and Mumbai
arms of the International
Society for Krishna
Consciousness (Iskcon)
ended on Monday with the
Karnataka high court ruling
that the Mumbai Iskcon had
rights over the properties of
Iskcon, Bangalore."[2] "In
the backdrop of the
Karnataka high court order,
Iskcon, Mumbai, has
formed a supervisory
committee to monitor the
affairs of Iskcon, Bangalore,
under the guidance of
Dayaram Das."[3] The legal
battle is not over yet as
ISKCON Bangalore
management made an
appeal to the Supreme
Court of India, challenging
the decision of the
Karnataka high court.

celebrates all the festivals
that are either related to
avatars of Lord Vishnu or
with Vedic

Social Services
ISKCON Bangalore has
been praised many times for
its services towards poor
and helpless people. It
provides free food to those
in need.[4]
The Akshaya Patra
Foundation is one of the
initiative, feeding 1.3 million
children across
India.
