One of the popular Museum and Art Galleries in Bangalore is the Karnataka folk museum, Bangalore which is also popularly known as the Janapada Loka. The museum has some of the beautifull collection of Karnataka's folk life. The museum hosts wide variety of folk music, videos, various folk dance of Karnataka.. The museum has three buildings wher several artifacts are kept, namely Lokamahal, Lokamatha Mandira and Chitrakuteera. Lokamahalthe hosts interesting folk puppets, utensils, instruments, weapons and masks. Lokamatha Mandira has a wide variety of, baskets, utensils are featured. A beautifully carved temple chariot is another attraction here.Many historic & ancient carvings in stones are displayed here.The museum also has an amazing amphitheater.
